Master: Pockets (Part 1)
"Calling all novice fashionistas!".... or experienced ones who need to master the techniques of adding pockets!
This workshops is the first part of truly mastering pockets, you'll find more advanced pocket-ing in the "Part 2" class.
In this bitesized workshop, you will concentrate on pockets, sewing samples of various pockets from the perfect patch to a wonderful welt, in part 2. You will be taught the tips and tricks of the trade and learn about reinforcing and professional pressing techniques. Never be petrified of pockets again!
In Part 1 you will learn:
- Shirt/jean: patch pocket
- In-seam pocket
- Trouser pocket with pocket bag
Your safety is important to us!
On entering, we will have sanitiser stations for you to to freshen up. All machinery, sewing stations, and tools you will be using, will be sanitised before you arrive, and between each session.
At your sewing station you will also have sanitiser wipes, should you feel you need to use them.
Our lavatories are communal, but they will be supplied with santiser wipes, hand wash and disposable towels.
You are welcome inside with or without a mask, but please respect the choices of others, should they choose to wear a mask or not.

No, just turn up on the day!

This workshop is suitable for 14 years and above. All students under the age of 17, must be accompanied by a participating adult.
